BRITON 5730 DIN Standard Fire Rated Bathroom Lock Case 60mm Backset

The Briton 5730 DIN Standard Bathroom Lock Case is designed for bathroom doors and other applications where a privacy locking function is required. The latchbolt is operated by lever handles from either side, while one turn of the thumbturn throws the 20mm deadbolt. An outside emergency release should be used to allow access in an emergency.

With a 60mm backset and 78mm centres, the Briton 5730 is suitable for commercial and architectural door applications. It features a quick reversible profiled latch for flexible installation, bolt-through fixing holes to DIN 18251, and a galvanised steel lockcase with satin nickel plating for corrosion resistance. It is available with a grade 316 stainless steel round or square forend and has been fire tested to EN 1634-1 and is suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, if fitted to a fire door, a suitable door closer must also be installed.
